Called off for the day!

Well the good news is she gets to eat... the bad news is today is not the day for Lilee's surgery. One of her doctors came in and told us that there was an emergency surgery that needed to be done on another child today that meant Lilee would need to go later. Kind of sad for us but we praise the Lord that she is stable and healthy enough to wait until the time is right. We would hate to see her go before a more critical or needy baby or child.

The doctor said she is "on the schedule" for Friday. Even though that is two days away, that news is actually consoling for us because up until now, she has never been "on the schedule" for anything. The doctor also said there is a chance that she may go tomorrow but chances are better that it would be Friday.

Looks like since we may have a 24 hour window at least, I might go home tonight and do some laundry, grab supplies, feed Jack our cat and sleep in a real bed! Not much else to say but wanted to keep everyone up to date with the latest. We know God's got a plan, we just need to be patient and see it through. Thanks again for your fasting and prayers. Keep in touch soon!

In my resource team meeting today I told them a little about Lilee. The woman who prayed for her was so right on in every detail of what she prayed! The Spirit is directing prayer and God is all over this. Our hearts are with you every moment.

An encouraging song e-mailed from Mrs. Greene today. Thank you!

What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
Refrain:
Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.
Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.
What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Our prayers are with your beautiful little family. Lilee is adorable like her momma and strong like her daddy. I pray that faith and peace fill your hearts and that your patience is made strong. Lilee is in God's hands and He will fix her little heart in His perfect time.
We will be checking in everyday and holding on to God's promise. We love you.

We are adding our prayers to what must be a constant joyous chorus to the Lord in Lilee's honor.

"For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

Dear Lord, please look to this little heart and bring your great physicians hands to be used by those who are caring for this little one.

Watching every day for news. Thinking about you all, can't imagine how difficult it must be. Max would give you a big flirty kiss if he could Erin!
